American-Italian Soprano Rose-Antoinette Bellino praised as a "vocal powerhouse" and known for her "brilliant vocal acrobatics", began performing in operas at age 10, and has been making a name for herself performing ever since. Ms. Bellino's most notable recent engagements include Lucia in (Lucia di Lammermoor), and Blanche (Dialogues of the Carmelites) with IU Opera Theater, Adina (Elisir d'amore) with YAFO in Tel Aviv Israel, and Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) with Utah Festival Opera. She was recently the First Place and Audience Favorite Winners in The 2019 Utah Festival International Opera Competition, and the 2nd Place recipient in the 2017 Partners for the Arts "Promising Young Artist" Competition.
Upcoming in Ms. Bellino's 2019/20 season includes her personal role premier of the title role in Puccini's Suor Angelica in IU Opera Theater's double bill of Suor Angelica & Gianni Schicchi.
Ms. Bellino has an extensive repertoire of operatic roles including Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor), Blanche (Dialogues of the Carmelites), Adina (Elisir d'amore), Soprano Angel (It's A Wonderful Life), Erste Dame (Die Zauberflöte), Kitchen Boy (Rusalka), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Princess (L'Enfant et les Sortiléges), The Cat (Brundibar), The Mother (Amahl and the Night Visitors), and even the role of Amahl in the same opera at the young age of 12 years old. She has also had the honor of premiering an opera with the role of Plythia written specifically for her in the opera adaptation of (The Legend of Sleepy Hollow) by Dr. Mark Volker.
A native of the Greater Boston Area, Ms. Bellino is an alumna of the prestigeous Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick Massachusetts, and Montreal Canada's McGill University Schulich School of Music.
